Upon Completion
Receive your Certificate of Completion, and your course credits are reported to NMLS through the approved education provider.
Schedule When Ready
Use your study guide and practice exam access to prepare for and pass the national SAFE MLO Test.
1–2 Weeks
Submit your fingerprints for a criminal background check and authorize a credit report review through NMLS.
State-Dependent
Submit your MLO license application through NMLS and meet your state's specific requirements.
